I am officially living in Destin now. I traveled to DC the past 2 weeks, so Jim & I still hadn't spent more than 4 days in a row together since March!! So we are definitely enjoying each other & getting settled in our new place.
The weekend started with us planning on settling a room per day. So Sunday started with the living room. It is now liveable & we now can watch movies on our TV that is hooked up! We have not had a TV in Destin since March, so that is huge. We actually have enjoyed NOT having a tv. Then today, we settled the master bedroom. We moved a bunch of furniture around from where the movers put it & then unpacked a bunch of boxes. The bad part is that we are having to time our box dumping with the dumpster dumping! I guess it would make more sense if we broke the boxes down... :)
We are cooking some yummy chicken for supper....chicken quarters marinated in a concoction including fresh lemon juice, lemon rind, honey, soy sauce & peanut butter. Then you coat the marinated chicken in chopped honey roasted peanuts, breadcrumbs, garlic & salt/crushed red pepper. I'll let you know how it is...
